Hats off to the good people of last Saturday night's Frugal Foodies meeting! A motley group of 21 strangers gathered and, for $8 each, created a 6-course Oaxacan (themed) meal, including three moles, Oaxacan tamales (wrapped in banana leaf), and a really nice rice pudding, plus, going off the menu, fried plantains and margaritas. The meal was epic, and I had a great time.
