Reprise, a Norwegian film about a group of young would-be writers in Oslo, is well worth watching. The actors are charismatic, and their plights are real, even if the voiceover pushes the narrative too often and there are some dangly ends to it. Possibly the handful of very funny moments redeem it from being a moody, unpropelled "European film," but possibly, instead, the dynamics of the characters are what do this for it.
