There was a guy from the band SupersonicSemisonic on the radio this morning. He talked about all the non-payola payola that his label did to help "Closing Time" become a hit.

Do you ever find yourself making a compromise between what art and what's commercial? asked the interviewer.

"Well, I grew up listening to AM radio in the 70s, so my ideas about art were already pretty commercial."

"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end / I know who I want to take me home."
