I don't know if Knuckle & Fingertip band-aids are supposed to be obvious—and I have less than the typical amount of psychology for everyday things—or if they're just as ambiguous to everyone else as they are to me. Which one is knuckle? Which one is fingertip? They're both such specific, evocative forms; there must be a right way to do it. I can't believe the Band-Aid Engineers didn't put a ton of thought into what was the best shape for a knuckle bandage (and, likewise, the other team must have done so for fingertips). The box provides no helpful hints. There is an explanatory note attached to each kind, on the back of the box, but they say things like "Extra-sticky finish" and "Super-sterile gauzepad," instead of something useful like "This one goes on your knuckle" and "This one on your fingertip." Is it me?
