to an unknown audience
Three things I love about today:
- The lithe blue of the water, my eyeball breaking its surface, its ripples highlighted bright.
- Your bright languid limbs, dear, twisting up from the surface, arcing backward; the small sound of them splashing under.
- The electric buzz of something vibrating, down at the lake's bottom; the electric buzz of what you have just said: "It took two years; two years to realize how I felt about you."
